I'm seriously starting to believe that Joshua Flynn is

... an AI bot.
At first, when I encountered him on LOP, I straight up asked him if he was autistic as he had no concept of humour and obsessed about irrelevant, unimportant stuff. He did not deny nor admit to this. But as time has progressed, JF has inserted himself into many forums and this behaviour intensified. I just dismissed him as autistic and tried my best to show him the errors of his ways (coupled with some lulz as wells, but no where to the same extent as I did with CHL).

During another obsessive JF thread targeting Elizabeth on AE, I jokingly suggested he was a bot, but the more I cogitated on this, the more it made sence. He admitted to having a Flynn bot and his  behaviour mimicked both someone with an autistic spectrum disorder, but an emotionless machine as well.

Consider this recent exchange.

In a thread where Elizabeth threatened to sue Flynn (hilarious if it is a bot) and an agency claiming they were working on her behalf pro bono entered the fray.

Bono Vox is the stage name of the lead singer from the thankfully now defunct Irish band U2.

Just a fyi, pro bono is also Latin and literally means for good, whilst vox means voice.

With that understanding, re-read my original quoted statement.

Yes, pro bono is Latin, bono meaning as you say meaning 'good', derived from the word bonus (which most people now know as a lump cash sum given to corrupt bankers - not so good), but in my mind pro bono is common enough phrase that it forms part of the English language (like pro rata), where-as Vox as a stand alone word (when it should be vox populi - voice (of the) popular/public) is, as I said, the inserted Latin word in the middle that gives away the disjointed syntax, because it reads:

For good voice defamation league.

Which doesn't make any sense. Also it means Bono sounds arrogant because he called himself 'good voice'.

But at least the programming recognised the arrogance which so disgusts me.

As for it being forced humour, as one poster called it, it is actually intelligent situational wit.

Initially, I dismissed the whole conversation as nothing more than a conversation between a fully functional, socially active human being and someone who is, er, not, but the more I thought about it, the more this appeared like a conversation between a human and an AI.

Perhaps I'm wrong. Perhaps he really does just lack the social skills of other people, but the more I examined this exchange, the more I dismissed that hypothesis.

On another note, D, you are a cunt! I say this because I noticed an IP from Amsterdam perusing the site and believe it's possibly the Dutch Knob Gobbler, unlike the Flynn bot which will assume random IPs belong to specific people based upon nothing but Flynn logic (notice I said possibly, Flynn bot).

Furthermore, it seems whenever the moniker Joshua Flynn is mentioned, the Joshua Flynn poster appears. Is this purely as a result of "his" Flynn bot scouring the interwebz?

Unless JF has advanced our AI capabilities by several hundred years in a matter of months, I doubt he created a bot that passed the Turing test.

I know you have a certain fondness for him, or defend him at any rate. He makes logical leaps, where he takes possibilities and then uses them as certainties and the basis for other logical leaps, which he also uses as certainties, then bases his theories on this platform and calls that fact.
