I don't hold this against you, I'm just struggling to understand. I am, after all, a noob in the admin world and, as Liz quite rightly pointed out, I'm still coming to terms with VPNs and proxies.

I've seen you use at least 6 different ISPs. I can understand 6 different Ips, resulting from a dynamic IP generator, but 6 ISPs? I can't get my head around that!

There are two levels of IP ban. There is the forum level, which you can control via your forum's admin area [ admin > security > ban list ], and there is also a server level which blocks the IP from the entire ProBoards network. If you take a look for their IP on your ban list, and if you can not find it there, then it may need unbanning by the ProBoards team, and you will need to provide their IP when asked.

Ask the member to go to a site such as www.whatismyip.com to obtain their current IP.
