I knew when I was four years old that I wanted to be a vet.

I let other people's opinions and other factors convince me it was impossible.

So my advice to myself would be: Stay in school.

Believing in progress does not mean believing that any progress has yet been made. (Franz Kafka)

"Mankind today is on the brink of a precipice. Humanity is threatened not only by nuclear annihilation but by the absence of values. The West has lost its vitality and Marxism has failed. At this crucial and bewildering juncture, the turn of Islam and the Muslim community has arrived."

Sayyid Qutb

Cynical realism is the intelligent man's best excuse for doing nothing in an intolerable situation.
~Aldous Huxley

We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.

Very solid advice.

And BTFD.

Me? Hm..."easy on the hard drugs" would have been good advice, but chances are I wouldn´t listen to myself.

Jeesus, don't drink so much. Oh, and don't listen to men who think they know what's good for you because 9 times out of 10 they are wrong and you MUST learn to trust your own intuition. Not doing so causes you to drink too much......
